The easiest way to extract is make sure you have registered your server and created your project. Next find the project you want to extract in the tree and highlight it. Next initiate the task from the toolbar or the menu.
Next Parameter Navigator wants to confirm that you want to extract parameters. This is a very safe procedure because it only updates the repository. It will not update a job.
The progressbar is updated for each job read.
Next you should always get a message box like below for every time a job is read and for all the tables updated in the reposity. This should not take that long but performance is based on many factors like network speed, the number of jobs.
