Once you have Selected a Data Set then you can apply a data. Hightlight the job or project you want to update then right click on this job or project. Next choose the the Apply Data Set menu item which just poped up.
If you try to apply a data set which has a PROJECT_TYPE of "DEV" to a project which has a PROJECT_TYPE of "PROD" or "TEST" then you will get an error message.
Next you will see a progress bar which lets you know the jobs are being updated. A project can be limited to a specific set of jobs by a tree filter. You can activate tree filters by clicking on the Tree Filter tab. More Detail
Last you will see a message bix with the number of jobs updated.
