DataStage is a product by Ascential Software. DwNav is not a product of Ascential Software but does use their Reporting Tool to display ETL business rules. It also requires the DataStage Client to be loaded. The DwNav Developer version allows you to drill down into the ETL to quickly navigate from source to target. Trace a file from one job to the previous job.
DwNav Enterprise is still under development. Enterprise
will allow you to store multiple snapshots of the ETL rules. You can then
compare different versions of DataStage jobs. You can then see how a job has
changed over time.
