You can run the DataStage Designer directly from DwNav by
double-clicking on "DataStage Designer". This will execute a process
in the background to load the designer with the correct user and password. The
first time you do this DwNav does not know your user and password.
DataStage complains because the user and password is incorrect. You get will
get this message until you update DwNav with the proper user and password.
DwNav uses unknown for user and password the first time. Please input the correct user and password here.

The password is automatically encrypted before it is saved in the database.
Be careful not to share your DwNav.mdb Access file because it does contain a valid encrypted password. This encryption could be broken but you have to update these records if you want to install the server programs. You can always go back and delete these records. DataStage will prompt you for a valid user name and password so it will still connect. DwNav may add this feature if requested.
